- Manage project programme and risk register
- Appoint and co-ordinate pre-contract design team
- Progress the project from the RIBA plan of work and client gateway approvals
- Prepare cost plan and regular key stage cost reviews
- Undertake design and information reviews to ensure continued compliance with the project brief
- Advice on procurement and tendering strategy ensuring value for money
- Appoint contractor and prepare building contracts
- Oversee building contract in relation to time, payments, notification and practical completion procedures
- Chair and record regular project team meetings
- Issue regular progress and financial reports
- Review progress, workmanship and quality reports
- Oversee smooth handover of the project (soft landings)
- Monitor post-completion activities
- Post completion project review and feedback
