Located in the London Borough of Redbridge, Leagrave Street is the redevelopment of a brownfield site (formerly housing industrial units) to provide 48 newly built apartments for shared ownership tenure and above-ground floor commercial units. 

Welling was appointed by Southern Housing Group (SHG) upon purchase of the site and provided financial and technical due diligence during the pre-construction period, including in the advising and administering of the main contractor procurement. 

Having secured the contractor via a single-stage tender and entering into a JCT Design and Build Contract, Welling administered the building contract, providing ongoing progress, financial, and quality reporting.
