SURVEYOR / EMPLOYER’S AGENT (LONDON OFFICE)
We are looking for an experienced and driven Surveyor to act as an Employer’s Agent on a range of construction and development projects, primarily within the residential and affordable housing sectors. In this client-facing role, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, contract administration, and ensuring delivery in line with quality, time, and cost expectations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of construction contracts (particularly JCT), excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to safeguard client interests throughout the project lifecycle.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
MRICS or working towards professional qualification (desirable).
Proven experience in a similar role, particularly within residential or mixed-use developments.
Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and construction contract administration.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and work independently.
Full UK driving licence

GRADUATE SURVEYOR / ASSISTANT SURVEYOR (EMPLOYER’S AGENT) (SOUTHAMPTON OFFICE)
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Surveyor or Assistant Surveyor to join our dynamic team as an Employer’s Agent. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in project management and contract administration within the construction and property sectors.
In this role, you will support the delivery of residential and mixed-use development projects on behalf of our clients, including housing associations, local authorities, and private developers. You will assist in monitoring project progress, preparing contract documentation, chairing meetings, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.
Working alongside experienced surveyors and project managers, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, contract administration, and the responsibilities of the Employer’s Agent. This position offers excellent career progression opportunities, structured training towards chartership (e.g., RICS or CIOB), and the chance to be involved in meaningful projects that make a real difference to communities.
